Amazon Rolls Out Major Redesign for Amazon Fire TV in the U.S:

Amazon has begun rolling out a redesigned interface for Amazon Fire TV devices across the United States, marking the platform’s first significant visual overhaul in years. The update aims to make content discovery easier while creating a cleaner, more modern browsing experience.

As streaming libraries continue to expand across platforms, Fire TV is evolving beyond a simple app launcher into a centralized discovery hub. The new design, first previewed at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, emphasizes simplicity and visual clarity.

The refreshed interface introduces rounded corners, smoother gradients, consistent typography, and improved spacing between content tiles to reduce clutter. One of the most notable upgrades is expanded space for pinned apps. Previously limited to six apps on the home screen, users can now pin up to 20 apps thanks to smaller icon sizes—making it easier to access popular services like Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video, Hulu, and Max.

Navigation has also been streamlined. The top menu bar now features clearly labeled categories with simple icons, including Movies, TV, Live TV, Sports, and News. A repositioned search button, located to the left of the Home tab, allows for quicker access when browsing for specific content.

Overall, the redesign reflects Amazon’s effort to simplify streaming navigation while keeping pace with the growing complexity of digital entertainment options.
