Apple Inc. Speeds Up Development of Three AI-Powered Wearables:

Apple Inc. is reportedly accelerating work on three new artificial intelligence–driven wearable devices as it intensifies efforts to compete in the rapidly evolving AI hardware market.

According to recent reports, one of the products in development is a compact AI pendant—roughly the size of an AirTag—that can be clipped onto clothing and equipped with cameras. The device is expected to function as an intelligent companion, likely relying heavily on integration with the iPhone.

In addition, Apple is fast-tracking its AI-enabled smart glasses, internally code-named N50. These glasses are said to feature a high-resolution camera and more advanced capabilities compared to the other wearables. Production could begin as early as December, with a potential public launch targeted for 2027.

Apple faces growing competition in the smart glasses segment from companies such as Meta Platforms, which has already gained traction in the category, and Snap Inc., which plans to release its new “Specs” later this year.

The company is also reportedly developing upgraded AirPods with enhanced AI features. All three devices are expected to integrate closely with the iPhone and incorporate Siri as a central part of the user experience.

While Apple has not officially confirmed these developments, the reports suggest a significant push into AI-powered wearable technology.
