Apple Quietly Introduces AirPods Max 2 with Enhanced Audio and Smarter Features:

Apple has unexpectedly launched the AirPods Max 2, marking the first major update to its premium over-ear headphones since their original debut in 2020.

Priced at $549, the new model comes equipped with advanced features such as active noise cancellation, Apple’s H2 audio chip, improved sound quality, and support for live translation. Preorders begin on March 25, with availability expected early next month. The headphones will be offered in five colors: midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue.

Apple claims the upgraded active noise cancellation is up to 1.5 times more effective than the previous version. The addition of Adaptive Audio allows the headphones to intelligently balance noise cancellation and transparency levels based on the surrounding environment for a more seamless listening experience.

Transparency mode has also been refined, now delivering a more natural sound. This improvement is powered by a new digital signal processing system optimized for the H2 chip and the device’s microphone array, helping users stay aware of their surroundings while enjoying audio.
