Google Gemini Crosses 750 Million Monthly Users, Closing Gap with ChatGPT: 

Google’s AI chatbot Gemini has reached more than 750 million monthly active users (MAUs), according to the company’s Q4 2025 earnings report. The milestone highlights the accelerating adoption of Gemini and its growing influence in the consumer AI market.

Just one quarter earlier, Google reported 650 million MAUs, signaling strong momentum and rapid user growth. While Gemini has overtaken Meta AI — which reports nearly 500 million monthly users — it still trails ChatGPT, which is estimated to have around 810 million MAUs by late 2025.

The surge in usage follows the launch of Gemini 3, Google’s latest and most advanced model. The company says the new version delivers significantly improved depth, reasoning, and nuanced responses. CEO Sundar Pichai noted that Gemini 3’s introduction, particularly in AI mode, has been a key contributor to recent growth, adding that continued investment and product iteration will sustain momentum.

Google has also introduced a new budget-friendly subscription tier, Google AI Plus, priced at $7.99 per month. Although the plan was launched too recently to impact the reported quarterly numbers, it is expected to attract more cost-conscious users and further expand Gemini’s user base.
